What is Unity?Unity is a spiritual movement based on the teachings of Jesus offering a unique, positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity. Unity respects and honors all other religions and spiritual paths.

Our Minister Rev. Deb Knowles: Rev. Deborah Knowles is the Spiritual Leader of Unity Church of Kona-Kohala. She has been the spearhead of our ministry for over 10 years. "Rev Deb", as she is lovingly referred to, received her Doctorate Degree from the University of Metaphysics in 2002 (and was ordained a Metaphysical Minister in 2002) and continues her education through Unity and the Association of Unity Churches. She is on the fast track to becoming a LUT (Licensed Unity Teacher), and has been a Unity student, teacher and speaker for over 30 years. She was also a recipient of the James Dillet Freeman Youth Services Award from Unity in 1993, Who's Who Among American Women in 2002, and recipient of the Customer Service award for the State of Hawaii for her insurance work in 1997. A native Californian, Rev. Deb made her home on Oahu since the early '70's. She is the proud mother of 4 children and has 15 grandchildren! Rev. Deb moved to Kailua-Kona in 2001 to become the full-time spiritual leader of our wonderful Unity community. Rev. Deb is available for spiritual counseling, life coaching, weddings, vow renewals, christenings, blessings, Celebration of Life services. She can be reached through the office phone: 808-322-0885. |

Make a commitment to have fun and enjoy each day, whether it's voggy or not. Allow the diverse beauty of Hawaii to remind you of why you live here. When we take time for ourselves and notice the good in our lives, we prosper in every way. Let the Divine Spirit within you guide you to new ways of sharing and caring for yourself, your family and your community. This in turn will send that loving energy to the world. Today, we can take the first steps in thought and action to better our lives and our world.
